Description of the RG-145-2 Aircraft Battery:

Concorde aerobatic RG® Series recombinant gas batteries are constructed with advanced sealed lead acid technology and unique features such as additional PolyGuard® separators around the plates to protect against shock and vibration, and larger than the industry standard intercell connections for optimal outrush and increased charge acceptance.

  • Maintenance free
  • Constructed with non removable vent valves, no addition of electrolyte or water required
  • RG-145-2 has 55 percent more capacity than the standard emergency battery.
  • Built in heaters enhance battery operation during cold soak conditions
  • Complies with extended range requirements during emergency conditions
  • Internal DC Heater
  • RG® Series batteries ship Hazmat Exempt

The battery is housed within an aluminum container and cover. A hold down bar is integrated into the cover with a lifting strap fitted on the cover. Heater receptacle and vent hole are integrated into the front of the container. For an unheated model, see RG-145-1.
